Hiking in the Pacific Northwest
My husband and I took another Sunday trip to the Columbia River Gorge. I will never grow tired of visiting and exploring this area. We hiked up to Angel's Rest for the first time and the view was AMAZING! Standing at the edge of a cliff a little over 1,500 ft. high we marveled at the sight of the Columbia River east to Portland and west to Hood River. He joked that we could probably see Canada from where we were standing. We did manage to see quite a ways into Washington on the other side of the river!
Foliage
Scenery
Bridges and Structures
Waterfalls
Wildlife
Don't you just love how "wildlife" is mostly a bunch of SLUGS! Yep, that's just the way it is here!
